Mrs. Brown came to Lawton Chiles Middle Academy in 1998. She has worked as a volunteer, a substitute teacher, and a paraprofessional for 11 years. She was named Para of the Year in 1999. Mrs. Brown enjoys watching movies with her family, spending time at the library and in bookstores with her daughter, and roller skating. She is also actively involved in her church and community, accompanying LCMA band and chorus students, filling in as pianist at various churches, and singing in the choir.
