Mr. Ken Nickse came to LCMA in 1995 and organized the band program which every year has received superior ratings. Prior to teaching at LCMA, Mr. Nickse was also director of bands at Rochelle School of the Arts, Kathleen High School and Lake Gibson Middle School.

He has also taught in Orange and Brevard counties. Mr. Nickse is active with his local and state music organizations and spends time working with other music teachers and students. He is an avid FSU supporter!
