Debbie Viertel came to LCMA in 2001. Her prior
11 years were spent teaching emotional disturbed
students in Hillsboro County.
Mrs. Viertel has taught many different subjects
at LCMA including math, science and all iLab
levels. Her activities at Lawton Chiles include
running an environmental symposium class and
being an advisor for the TSA team. She how plans
the annual trip to Marine Lab in Key Largo.
She has 4 border collies that she and her
daughter compete with in herding and flyball and
a son who travels the US professionally racing
mountain bikes.
